“We are really working hard on fundamentals and discipline for now,” said Rehfuss, who played high school lacrosse at Shaker. “I’m excited to see what the season has to offer.”
The Eagles lost five star seniors last year – Megan Duffy, Tori McGrath, Moriah Greenstein, Laura DiFrancesco and Maeve Conway. The returning seniors include Abby Seymour, Giana Calabrese, Peri Lindh and Katherine Dority.
Younger players include freshman Kim Granito, as well as sophomore Kaylee Rickert and juniors Sydney Shaw and Emily Conway.
“Kim is definitely one of our best new players,” said Rehfuss. “I’m really excited to see what she can help bring for us in game play.”
“I’ve been working with these girls for years, and we have really great chemistry. I think that will really help us with this upcoming season,” said Seymour.
Bethlehem is aiming to move up the Suburban Council standings after finishing in the middle of the 11-team pack each of the past two seasons.
“There is a lot of new talent as well as good returning players. I think if we work hard enough, good things will come,” said Rehfuss.
The Eagles host their first league game on Thursday, March 28, at 4:15 p.m. when they face the Columbia Blue Devils.
