Eagles end skid with non-league win against Scotia-Glenville

The Bethlehem baseball team ended a seven-game losing streak with Saturday's 7-5 non-league win against Scotia-Glenville.

The Eagles (2-7) scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to take a 6-1 lead. The Tartans responded with four runs in the top of the fifth, but they couldn't catch Bethlehem.

Will Aldam doubled twice for Bethlehem.

Boys lacrosse

Bethlehem scored eight times in the second quarter on its way to a 16-1 non-league victory over Schenectady in Saturday's boys lacrosse game.

Nick and John Gosstola each recorded hat tricks to lead the Eagles. Liam Christensen contributed two goals and six assists, while Sam Vis and Adam Liebold each tallied twice.
