The Bethlehem boys soccer team began its run in the Section II Class AA playoffs with a 2-0 victory over Ballston Spa Monday in Delmar.
Connor McMahon scored the Eagles' first goal with less than 10 minutes left in the first half on an individual effort. Zach Rockmore then scored off his own missed shot in the second half to double Bethlehem's lead.
Ballston Spa had several chances to get on the scoreboard, but Bethlehem's defense held firm to post the shutout.
Bethlehem improved its record to 14-0-3 with the victory.
